The long tail skirt

So spring is finally here, even though the weather is on and off  with a cold chill now and again. Well today was warm enough for me to wear this outfit. When I saw this mocha long tail skirt from the online store Nasty Gal, I had to have it. Loving this trend- a short skirt in the front and a maxi at the back.

I never like to over accessorize my outfits, so these bangles from Foschini, are enough jewelry for today. The boho floppy hat and the waist belt are from a random boutique.

I have been anxiously waiting for spring/summer just so I can wear bright colours. This multi coloured sripped vest is from Mr Price and the half moon yellow bag is from the online store Nasty Gal.

I dont mind buying cheap or affordable clothes as I feel like seasons come and go and so do the trends, except for investment items like coats and blazers which can last you half your lifetime, thats where I look for quality the most. I believe my biggest investment should be my shoes. Like these Steve Madden brown wedges, they really have seen better days but they still going strong.

Look what I made!

I have been making my own jewelry for years now, on and off, while still in varsity. So I decided to make a few for the coming summer. I love mixing different colours and textures of beads to come up with something unique every time. Do you like?

The new range of Celine handbags is simply classic. I love the diferent colours in each bag and the fact that despite the sophiticated look it has, it can be worn casual too. My favourites has to be the one on the first picture because of the black/white/beige combination and the all blue one worn by Claudi. What do you dolls think about this bag and which one is your Favourite?

Who wore this Blue Moon leopard print dress better?

Vanessa Hudgens wore the maxi with layers of necklaces and gold bangles. While Nicky Hilton wore a shortned version with black flats. I think im with Vanessa on this one. What do you guys think?

Plaits and braids

Plaits are not only fun and chic but they can look elegant and classy. I love both these looks by Rihanna and Amy Adams. I think they both look super cute. This look is just perfect for summer because keeps the hair away from your face. Its still not yet summer in Joburg, but Im so over winter, its not even funny. Can't wait to try out all the summer looks and trends I have been spotting lately and this is definetely one of them. What do you guys think of plaiting your hair in summer?**

Lash Out Loud......LOL

Inglot's eyelashes collection just makes you want to try them out, and thats exactly what I did (see previous post). They have such a wide collection for every occassion, whether its for a halloween party, a wedding, awards ceremony or just plain girls-having- fun outing.
